We are Hiring!
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Flexible Schedule | Competitive Pay | Supportive Small-Clinic Environment
Looking for a pediatric therapist position that feels sustainable, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable?
At Play n’ Grow Therapy, we’re a small, relationship-based practice that values supporting both our clients and our therapists. We believe great therapy happens when clinicians feel trusted, supported, and have the freedom to be themselves.
We’re also a growing practice, and that growth really matters here. As we expand, there are real opportunities for long-term development within the clinic—including leadership roles, helping shape new programs, and stepping into higher-level positions over time for clinicians who are interested in growing with us.
We’re looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team.
This position is a great fit for clinicians looking for a smaller caseload, such as working parents, school-based social workers looking to supplement a couple hours in the evenings, or therapists looking to add a few weekend clients alongside an existing position. This role is also a great fit for a clinician who wants to grow with us long-term and enjoys the idea of being part of a clinic atmosphere with significant potential for growth and leadership.
Whether you’re looking for just a few clients per week or hoping to build a fuller schedule or step into leadership roles, we’re happy to work with you to create something that fits your life.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing play-based, relationship-centered therapy services in our clinic
Occasionally providing teletherapy services when appropriate
Providing home or community-based sessions when needed (mileage and transition time are reimbursed)
Completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
Collaborating closely with families and caregivers throughout the therapeutic process
Completing daily documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans (we provide templates and a user-friendly EMR to make this as painless as possible)
Participating in occasional co-treatments with occupational therapists or speech-language pathologists
Supporting children with emotional regulation, social-emotional development, behavioral challenges, anxiety, self-esteem, and other mental health needsMost of the children we work with benefit from support with emotional regulation, social-emotional development, executive functioning, behavioral challenges, anxiety, and building healthy relationships.
We use a child-led, relationship-based approach and focus on helping children feel safe, connected, understood, and successful.
Schedule
One of the biggest perks of this role is flexibility. Want to see just a few clients a week? That’s okay. Looking for a fuller caseload? We’d love that too.You can provide as little as 4 client sessions per week on the day(s) of your choosing, or give us broader availability and we’ll build a schedule that works for you.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process. Pay is based on experience, training/supervision required, and the overall responsibilities of the role.We believe in recognizing growth and contributions to the practice.
There are opportunities for raises, promotions, and additional paid opportunities throughout the year, including:
-Presentations and trainings
-Workshops and community events
